My name is Kevin and I'm an old soul. Health and fitness are important to me, and I hope to find a woman who shares that same value. I am careful about what I eat and drink, and to that end I cook and prepare my food at home and enjoy doing so. I read often and I like to keep up to date on the events around the world. I like peace and quiet and tend to avoid those who participate in buffoonery. I do enjoy international and domestic traveling though it doesn't happen as often as I'd like it to. I grew up north of Chicago and I've lived in many places before I arrived in San Diego April of last year.

I like to set goals and constantly make an effort to improve myself in any way that I can. My physical health is of paramount importance to me. I don't casually attend a gym a few times a month...I follow a dedicated routine, and I demand focus and discipline from myself while I'm there. Working out is my drug of choice, and I choose not to drink because it interferes with my performance and recovery.

I am a philomath and few things give me the liberating pleasure more than the absorption of knowledge and ideas. To that end I read very frequently. I also indulge in countless documentaries, lectures, and published articles. Now that I am a resident I am preparing to return to class and pursue a degree in science.

I enjoy games of all types including board games, card games, computer games, especially turn based strategy, trivia, and chess. Bicycling and beach going has a place in each of my days. I like to refresh my appreciation for where I live and the hard work it took to get here and stay here. Besides, nothing realigns the ole spiritual compass quite like the ocean.
